By purchasing artwork from Pretty Creative Designs you automatically accept our terms & conditions.
All our artwork is registered with a third party agency Protect My Work.com upon creation and assigned a registration number. We use these details to prove copyright in the event of any infringement.
We take any infringement of our terms & conditions seriously and will not hesitate to take the necessary legal action to prevent and recover losses.
However, that said, we really do aim to be flexible, so if you'd like to use our artwork in a way that doesn't comply fully with our terms & conditions, please do email to run it past us...we consider every situation very carefully and try to accommodate your request wherever possible.
1. Licences
All our artwork/designs include a single seat license. This permits the purchaser (and only the purchaser) to print the design on physical products for both personal and small commercial use (we consider a small business one which has an annual turnover of less than £88,000)
Our designs may be printed by the purchaser an unlimited amount of times
You must print and produce the finished item yourself, for resale to a single end user (customer) - they must not be reselling this end product via dropship, retail or be acting as a middle-man or wholesaler.
The license is absolutely non-transferable and we reserve the right to revoke the license upon infringement.
Each design has a copy of our terms & conditions included in the download. Please keep this in the folder with your design for future reference.
Should you be approached to produce any products for third parties, please contact us to discuss the appropriate license.
2. Copyright
Copyright always remains with Pretty Creative Designs at all times. In the UK copyright is automatic at the point of creation. We lodge date stamped copies of all our work with Protect My Work.com, should we ever need to prove ownership.
You are purchasing a license to print and use said artwork, subject to the terms & conditions.
Copyright is strictly non-transferable and is registered and protected at Protect My Work.com
You may not claim the design (or any part of) as your own. Please do not state or infer you are the original artist/designer.
You may not copyright any part of our work within a new design.
If the design includes a verse, quote or poem which has been written by Pretty Creative Designs, this is copyright and subject to the same terms & conditions as our artwork. You may not use replicate our words, or use them on any other design other than the one they are purchased with.
3. Non Permitted Use
You may not create a digital design to sell or download in any format whether in part, whole, altered or unaltered. This includes (but is not limited to) digital designs, digital wall prints, digital greetings cards, digital templates or clipart.
You may not create seamless papers to send for print, resell or wholesale use. Copyright of all elements remains with Pretty Creative Designs and derivative works are prohibited.
You may not send the design to anyone else for printing (including UV-DTF and DTF), sell pre-printed transfers, printed screen prints or upload to Print On Demand (POD) sites, Drop shipping or third party printing companies.
You may not upload our artwork to use as templates on site such as (but not limited to) Canva, Corjl etc.
You may not deconstruct the artwork, repackage or redraw our artwork.
You may not alter, recolour, amend, crop any part of, use elements of, or add masks/ filters to any of (or part of) our designs
You may not share, gift, exchange or resell the design (or any part of) in any format.
You may not post the design in its full resolution (even on a mock up) on the internet. Appropriate watermarking must be used to prevent image theft.
4. Watermarking
Your image(s) will be supplied without watermarks. It's part of our terms & conditions that you watermark all images uploaded to anywhere online. This applies to both mock ups and photographs.
Image theft takes money from both our and your pocket. We value our work highly and reserve the right to ask a customer to remove any image(s) we consider are not appropriately watermarked.
5. Replication
You must not replicate any of our designs, artwork, verses or poems. Anyone found copying, replicating or imitating our work (or any part there of) will have their website membership revoked and will be removed and blocked from the Facebook Group(s). Copyright infringements may result in legal action being taken.
6. Digital Sales
Due to the nature of digital sales and in particular the instant download, all sales are final and non refundable.
7. Software
Pretty Creative Design's artwork may be supplied in various formats (including, but not limited to) PNG, PSD, Photoshop, Affinity Designer Files, PDF and JPG.
Our artwork is designed for sublimation and print. You will need software to enable you to do this. We are not responsible for any technical problems you may have using your choice of software with our designs, however, we will try and assist you whenever we are able.
8. AI (artificial intelligence engines)
You are not permitted to upload our artwork (or any part thereof) into an AI engine for any purpose.
